Hey there,
You can call us “J” and “K”. We’re not MI6 or Men in Black. We’re just us – you know, a couple who has had a few adventures, been together awhile, and who remembers when the 80’s were actually cool. We think that makes us part of the O.G. generation - the one that still appreciates good old-fashioned hard work and values traditions. But don't let that fool you; we might seem “old school”, but we’ve picked up a few tricks from the kids along the way; he’s shifting gears and she’s a technology, art, and well, an overall nerd. We hail from the days where life seemed to be simpler; umm… like the 70’s and 80’s.
You could say we’ve modernized a little too; call us modern rednecks – we're into camping, ATV’s, and motorcycles; We like getting muddy in the morning on quads, then feeling the wind in the afternoon on the bikes. We’re nature-curious and love to explore the great outdoors. Both of us hail from small towns, but we're not your average couple; we pride ourselves on being the "outside the crate thinkers" who try to break free from the norm.
Our story really began with a flash of inspiration while we were driving down an old highway; watching for wildlife, singing along to the radio, and dreaming of things we “should” do, but were only possible if we won the lottery. J is horrible with directions and navigation and called it “the O.G.” road. K, as the navigator, laughed and corrected him… and like a blinding flash from one of those movies, inspiration struck and over the hours of driving we had left to do, she sketched and created an idea for a collection.
